In the wake of nationwide civil unrest following the murder of George Floyd, Phillip is interviewing local black leaders and activists to provide insight, inspiration, and courage in these unsettling times. In this episode, Phil speaks with Jacksonville activist Christina Kittle, one of the lead organizers of the May 30, 2020 protest in Jacksonville that drew over 3500 participants. Christina shares how her experience being brutalized and arrested by local police in 2017 led her to advocate for greater police accountability today, which in turn has made her a target of online harassment by the Fraternal Order of Police.
